Elevator, solid-drawn, stamped polymer buckets. Elevator buckets are applied in elevators (continuous bucket elevators) for convening of grain, seeds, flour, bran, feed compounds and other bulk products. They are installed on conveyor belts known as bucket elevators intended for vertical conveying of bulk materials.

Buckets can be divided according to types, sizes and production materials. There are polymer, solid-drawn, stamped metal buckets. Buckets are fixed on the elevator belt with bolts (М10-40 М8-32), washers (М10 М8) and nuts (М10 М8).

STAMPED METAL BUCKETS are punched or seam welded by electric arc welding that significantly increases their weight as compared to other manufacturing technologies. Material and power overconsumption, excess labour costs for production result in the increase of prices. As a rule, assembled metal buckets are used for conveying of large-sized materials under extreme elevator operation conditions, bucket dimensions and capacity are higher than of all-metal buckets. Assembled metal buckets are produced both with and without bottoms.

SOLID-DRAWN METAL BUCKETS have strict dimensions according to GOST 122124-90 and GOST 26582-85, and the variety of types and sizes is limited as they are punched by moulds. The buckets are produced of iron and galvanized steel, have smooth round shaped corners and reduce sticking of conveyed materials. Solid-drawn metal buckets are comparatively lighter by weight than welded buckets and are not much heavier than polymer buckets. Buckets of this type are produced with bottoms, bottomless and with baffles.

When using POLYMER BUCKETS the following characteristics are provided:
-Explosion safety as striking of a spark is excluded when bucket edges touch elevator pipe
-Grain and seeds are not practically damaged due to elasticity of bucket edges
-Sticking of hard-flowing and wet products is excluded due to low adhesion of products to polymer surfaces
-Power consumption, mechanical loading on elevator belt and drive are reduced due to low bucket weight.

Polymer buckets possess significant rigidity, do not change geometrical shape in the course of operation; they are resistant to corrosion and quiet during operation. Buckets are operated at temperatures from -40C to +60С.
